On October 19 Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan received the delegation of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. The President estimated the visit of the delegation as a step directed to the development of cooperation with our country and higly praised the activity of the bank in Armenia. Noting that the cooperation with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development has been fomred since Armenia's independence and every year the circles of cooperation widen, Serzh Sargsyan considered the involvement of bank in any important and perspective project of Armenia's economy encouraging. The President said that the effective cooperation also increases trust and promote the flow of investments to our country. The members of the board of directors of the European Bank first congratulated the President Serzh Sargsyan on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of Armenia's independence and noted that the delegation visited Armenia in order to discuss priorities of cooperation, got acquianted with Armenia's current economic state and the current programs of the bank for the development of strategy of 2012-2015 EBRD for our country. The representatives of the bank noted that Armenia's government did its best to improve business enviroment in the country. They attached importance to the inspection, tax lreform legislation and the work implemented in other spheres underlying that in some spheres there are still problems which need to be solved and EBRD is ready to contribute to their solution. The members of the board of directors of the European Bank discussed with the head of the Government the possible fields of future cooperation.
