ANTELIAS, Lebanon - Towards the end of his pontifical visit, His Holiness Aram I held a working meeting with the officers of the National Executive Council, Prelate Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian, Vahe Yacoubian and Khajak Dikijian. After assessing the impact of the pontifical visit, the representatives of the National Executive Council thanked His Holiness for the visit because through the messages, lectures and declarations, the Catholicos reinvigorated the community, strengthened relations with churches, politicians, academics and other leaders; by emphasizing the importance of Armenian schools, and by encouraging people to pursue the Armenian Cause, His Holiness galvanized the community. After thanking the members of the National Executive Council of the Western Prelacy, the principals and teachers of the schools, as well as the members of the community for their commitment to the Armenian Church, His Holiness Aram I encouraged the members of the Armenian Community to remain united and prepare the next generation of leaders in the Diaspora. The meeting ended with a dinner offered by Mr. Vahe Yacoubian in honor of His Holiness Aram I.
