LEVON ARONIAN PLAYS DRAWN GAME WITH VESSELIN TOPALOV AT 9th

WIJK AAN ZEE, JANUARY 25, NOYAN TAPAN. Levon Aronian played
a drawn game with Vesselin Topalov (Bulgaria) at the 9th stage
of the international chess tournament being held in the city of
Wijk Aan Zee, Holland, on January 23. Vesselin Topalov heads the
tournament table with 6.5 points. Teymur Rajabov (Azerbaijan)
has 0.5 point less than the leader. And Levon Aronian got 5.5
points from possible 9 points and shares the 3rd-5th places with
Vladimir Kramnik and Pyotr Svidler. Luk Van Veli (Holland) is
L.Aronian's rival at the 10th stage.
Gabriel Sargsian shares the 6-10th places with a number of
chess players with 4.5 points in the 2nd tournament.
