"SONG OF COLOURS" CHARITY EXHIBITION-SALE LASTS FOR TWO

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 26, NOYAN TAPAN - ARMENIANS TODAY. The
presentation of the music album "Song of Colours" took place at
the Yerevan "Gevorgian" exhibition hall on December 23. The
album consists of songs authored and co-authored by young
composer Avet Barseghian which are performed by Andre, Arsen
Safarian, Hasmik Karapetian and other modern singers. The
illustrator of the album is young artist Rafael Melikian.
On the joint initiative of A.Barseghian and R.Melikian, a
charity exhibition-sale opened at the exhibition hall on the
same day. This was open up to December 24 included. Money
gathered of sale of R.Melikian's paintings and the
above-mentioned album will be allocated to the Kharberd
orphanage. Haroutiun Balasanian, the Director of the orphanage
was invited to the event. State officials, including Prosecutor
General of the country Aghvan Hovsepian, cultural figures,
businessmen, representatives of a wide strata of the society
were among the participants.
