YEREVAN, OCTOBER 2, NOYAN TAPAN. The 0,9% increase in service tariffs in Armenia in September on August 2007 was mainly due to a 3.8% growth in tariffs of personal services (5.5% growth in sanitary purification service tariffs), and a 5.1% growth in tariffs of educational services (5.3% and 14.4% growth in tariffs of paid services of higher and other educational institutions). According to the RA National Statistical Service, the growth in tariffs of housing, municipal, cultural and recreational services made 0.1-2.7%. The tariffs of transport services fell by 0.4%, while tariffs of medical, communication, public catering, legal and banking services remained at the level of the previous month.
