"DO NOT BE AFRAID" FEATURE FILM DEDICATED TO ARTSAKH WAR IS

YEREVAN, MAY 3, NOYAN TAPAN. Works done on the "Do not be
Afraid" 5-part TV film shot on the initiative of the Public
Television of Armenia which tells about the Artsakh war were
finished. The first show of this film dedicated to the 15th
anniversary of the occupation of Shoushi was to take place on
late May 2, at the Moskva (Moscow) cinema, and it will be shown
by the Public Television on May 4-8.
As Alexan Haroutiunian, the Council Chairman of the Public
Television and Radio Company stated on the same day at the press
conference, such a TV feature film was shot in Armenia for the
first time. In film director Aram Shahbazian's words, the most
important merit of the film is that "humane relations,
characters, fates and phenomena which become an example and way
of living in time and space are arisen against the war
background."
In producer Hrach Keshishian's words, works of shooting the
film were done during 100 days, 50 days in Yerevan, 50 days in
Karabakh. In the producer's words, the shootings in Karabakh
were carried out with the assistance of the RA Defence Ministry:
armoured technics were used, a great number of soldiers
participated.
Khoren Levonian and Lusine Tovmasian personified the main
heroes of the film. They mentioned that they are pleased with
having been shot in this film and impatiently wait for the
spectator's estimation.
"I am happy that I was given possibility to play in this
film. I had a possibility to speak about everything I wanted.
The film has an educational meaning to correct various
situations in life of our days," Kh. Levonian facted.
The film will soon be released in the DVD and CD variants.
To recap, sum less than 1 mln dollars was spent on the film.
