YEREVAN, MARCH 12, NOYAN TAPAN. Vardan Khachatrian, the former defender of the RA national football team died in the consequence of a car accident at about 00:30, March 9. He was moved to the hopital immediately after the car accident, but they did not manage to save his life. V. Khachatrian was 39. He was the senior of the RA national team, in the staff of which he participated in 30 games. He performed in the staffs of "Ararat," Moscow "Torpedo," Zaporozhye "Metalurg" and Kazan "Rubin." V.Khachatrian worked during the recent years in the "Pyunik" club sports school.
