HONORARY TITLES CONFERRED TO A NUMBER OF EMPLOYEES OF
PUBLIC RADIO AND TELEVISION

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 28, NOYAN TAPAN. For singificant
contribution in the sphere of radio and television, long-term
work in the sphere of journalism as well as on the occasion of
the 80th anniversary of foundation of the Armenian radio and
50th anniversary of foundation of the television, President
Robert Kocharian signed a decree on November 27 on conferring
honorary titles to a group of television and radio employees.
As Noyan Tapan was informed by the RA President's Press
Office, Raisa Mkrtchian, a soloist of the Radio and Television
Estrada Symphonic Orchestra was conferred honorary title of the
People's Artist. Mark Petrosian, the author of the "Dasakan
Alik" (Classic Channel) program of the Public Television, and
Suren Rshtuni, the chief producer of the Public Television, were
given the title of the Honourary Culture Figure.
Artur Bakhtamian, the creative group head of the "Hingerord
Aniv" (The 5th Wheel) program of the Public Television, Tatevik
Baghdasarian, the senior commentator of the "Haylur" (Armenian
News) information service of the Public Television, Sargis
Najarian, the author of the "Gisherayin Alik" (Night Channel)
program of the Public Radio, Karen Vardanian, the head of the
"Stereo-Studio" program of the Public Radio, Varuzhan Olkinian,
the announcer of the "Radiolur" (Radio News) program of the
Public Radio, were given title of the Honourary Journalist.
By the RA President's another decree, Armen Amirian, the
Executive Director of the Public Radio company, Spiridon
Hambardzumian, the coordinator of the "Haylur" information
service of the Public Television, Marat Ordian, the Deputy
Director of the Public Television, were awarded with the Movses
Khorenatsi medal.
