RA PROSECUTOR GENERAL HOPES THAT NOISY MURDERS OF RECENT
PERIOD TO BE REVEALED

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 9, NOYAN TAPAN. The Police, National
Security Service and Prosecutor's Office do their best to reveal
noisy murders taken place in Yerevan during the recent times. RA
Prosecutor General Aghvan Hovsepian stated about it at the
November 9 press conference, mentioning that activeness of
examination of those cases did not reduce. Particularly, active
preliminary investigation is today as well being held on the
case of the June 22 murder of businessman Sedrak Zatikian, the
son of the former community head of Malatia-Sebastia of Yerevan.
"I hope that this case must be revealed," A.Hovsepian said.
He stated that there are news, circumstances subject to
control on the case of the September 6 murder of Shahen
Hovasapian, the Investigation Department Chief of the RA State
Tax Service attached to Government. But, the RA Prosecutor
General abstained from speaking about the case examination in
details.
A.Hovsepian, not agreeing with the viewpoint of one of
journalists that impudent murders added, mentioned that murders
with usage of explosive materials, fire-arms as well as murders
of state officials have always taken place and it is not a news.
