EXHIBITIONS OF MODERN ART TO OPEN IN FRANCE AND ARMENIA

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 10, NOYAN TAPAN. Exhibitions of modern art entitled "Blue Deep: Sea Dreams among Gyumri, Yerevan, Paris and Lyons" will function in Yerevan on November 2-15, and in Paris in March, 2007, within the framework of the year of Armenia in France. Armenian and French modern painters will present works of the 5th international art biennial on theme "The Sea: Dreams and Illusions" held in Gyumri on August 12-22, 2006. As the Noyan Tapan correspondent was informed by the organization office of the year of Armenia in France, it will be possible to get acquainted with modern art directions of the two countries owing to a dozen of French and Armenian artists. Famous artists will arrive in Yerevan from Lyons to take part in the exhibition. Azat Sargsian, co-founder of the Gyumri Modern Art Center, is among the Armenian participants. He will present a video material about the Lake Sevan during those days.
