YEREVAN PREMIERE OF FILM DIRECTOR GOR KIRAKOSIAN'S "A BIG
STORY IN A SMALL TOWN" FILM TAKES PLACE

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 18, NOYAN TAPAN - ARMENIANS TODAY.
Yerevan premiere of film director Gor Kirakosian's (residing in
U.S.) full-length feature film "A Big Story in a Small Town"
took place on September 15 at Moscow cinema of Yerevan.
The young film director graduated from Los Angeles Film
Directors College and this film is his final work. The film was
shown at Glendale cinema and was highly estimated by both
Armenian and American spectators.
As Hrant Tokhatian, actor playing the leading part in the
film, said at the press conference held the same day, before this
the young film director shot "Romeo and Juliet" short
film, as well as video clips for singers.
In Gor Kirakosian's words, the film was shot within 28
days, but before this he did preparatory work in Los Angeles.
The script writer is Nektar Martirosian who emigrated from
Armenia. "I shot this film about my beloved Yerevan and people
residing in Yerevan, on the basis of their gay and interesting
stories," the film director said.
Gor Kirakosian said that the film was shot in the High
Definition format, but they will try to record it on the film in
the future.
Soon this film about Yerevan will be shown at Independent
Films Festival of America.
