ETCHMIADZIN, AUGUST 22, NOYAN TAPAN. Receiving participants of the Second All Armenian Conference on August 21, Karekin II Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians attached importance to the role of the church in the sphere of Armenian bringing up and keeping Armenian traditions. His Holiness also touched upon the close cooperation of the recent years between the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin and the RA Ministry of Education and Science, especially the re-training program for Diasporan teachers. "We consider important that our schools always function under blessing of our Church, that pupils have close participation in the church life. This tie must be strengthened, made more powerful as only with unity of those two, we'll be able to bring up worthy, believing and kind children. ... To bring up a kind child means to secure our people's eternity, long-lasting life, and prosperity of the Fatherland," His Holiness said. As Noyan Tapan was informed by the Information Services of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, Bagrat Yesayan, the RA Deputy Minister of Education and Science presented works of the conference. On behalf of the conference participants, the Deputy Minister congratulated and expressed their best wishes to the Catholicos of All Armenians on the occasion of the 55th birthday anniversary.
