YEREVAN, January 26 (Noyan Tapan). 13th world champion Harry Kasparov (Russia), whose personal rating makes 2,745, tops the January list of the World Chess Council (WCC). Vishwanathan Anand (India, 2,740), Alexander Morozevich (Russia, 2,715), Veselin Topalov (Bulgaria, 2,714), Michael Adams (England, 2,695), Hudit Polgar (Hungary, 2,690), Vladimir Kramnik (Russia, 2,685), Peter Leko (Hungary, 2,680), Peter Svidler (Russia, 2,680), Boris Helfand (Israel, 2, 665) are among the first ten chess players. Among the Armenian chess players Levon Aroyan (20th place, whose rating is 2,636), Vladimir Hakobian (21st, 2,635), Rafael Vahanian (52nd, 2,587), Smbat Lputian (73rd, 2,569), Gabriel Sargsian (88th, 2,559) and Karen Asrian (90th place, 2,558) are among the first hundred chess players. Besides them seven other representatives of Armenia occupied places in the WCC list.
