YEREVAN, April 27 (Noyan Tapan). Wrestler Martin Berberian from Yerevan successfully performed in the European Championship on Free Style Wrestling held in the city of Antalia of Turkey. Performing in 55-kg weight class, he placed first and acquired the title of the Euorepan Champion. Zhirair Hiovhannisian from Vanadzor (66-kg weight class) could also win a medal, but he was beaten in struggle held for the third place. Another three members of the Armenian national team Sevak Baghdian (60 kgs), Ara Gevorgian (74 kilograms) and Mamed Aghayev (84 kgs) registered a victory each, were beaten once and were dropped out of the further struggle after the preliminary stage.
