The Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs received the NATO Secretary General's Special Representative for the South Caucasus and Central Asia

On February 13 the Minister of Foreign Affairs Edward Nalbandian received James Appathurai, the NATO Secretary General's Special Representative for the South Caucasus and Central Asia. Welcoming the guest, Foreign Minister Nalbandian highly assessed the results achieved in Armenia-NATO cooperation. In the course of the meeting the sides touched upon a number of agenda issues related to the interaction between Armenia and the North Atlantic Alliance, particularly the cooperation being implemented in the frames of the Partnership for Peace (PfP), Euro-Atlantic Partnership Council (EAPC) and Individual Partnership Action Plan (IPAP). Edward Nalbandian and James Appathurai discussed the issues related to the Chicago Summit to be held this year and the annual session of EAPC-Armenia to be held in Brussels. The Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs presented the guest the recent development in the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh issue, in particular the results of the Sochi Summit. In this context, the NATO Secretary General's Special Representative reaffirmed that the Alliance fully supports the efforts undertaken by the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs, the Press, information and public relations department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia informs.
