The Government of Brazil, through its Embassy in Yerevan, announced the donation of USD 50.000,00 (fifty thousand US Dollars) to the UN High Commissioner for Refugees for the settlement of the families displaced from their homes by the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. It should be noted that Brazil was the only country which presented a pledge in the context of the Conference. The donation is part of the Humanitarian Assistance Program of the Brazilian Government and its people for the protection of the refugees from the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, in solidarity to the people of Armenia and their Government.
