Member of British House of Lords, Baroness Emma Nicholson to observe parliamentary elections in Armenia

Member of British House of Lords, Baroness Emma Nicholson will head the delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) during the May 6 parliamentary elections of Armenia, head of the Armenian delegation in PACE Davit Harutyunyan told Armenpress.
“The delegation is comprised of 30 members, 5 of who will arrive in Armenia beforehand - before the elections. The main group will be present during the elections and the day following it,” said Davit Harutyunyan.
Radmila Shekerinska, chief of OSCE /ODIHR mission for observance, will present the mandate of the mission, the volume and scope of the activity on March 21 in Yerevan.
It is intended that 24 short-term and 250 long-term observers will follow the parliamentary elections of Armenia. The OSCE/ODIHR had received an invitation to implement a mission for observance by Prime Minister of Armenia Tigran Sargsyan.
