The ruling coalition's Republican Party of Armenia has no chances in entering the parliament, the opposition bloc Armenian National Congress (ANC) member Vahagn Khachatryan stated during a press conference on Wednesday, March 21 and added: "Their only chance is their administrative resource, which will enable [them] to receive ten percent of the votes [in the National Assembly elections to be held on May 6]." The ANC member has said their studies have shown that ANC is in first place. And if the elections were to be held last year, they would have received fifty percent of the ballots cast. But now this has reduced a bit because of Armenia's political processes, emigration, and several other circumstances. As per ANC's data, the coalition's Prosperous Armenia Party is in second place, whereas the coalition's Rule of Law Party is not in contention at all. The opposition ARF Dashnaktsutyun Party will receive 5-7 percent, and the opposition Heritage Party will come next. Reflecting on election bribe, Vahagn Khachatryan noted that the ANC has financial means solely for its election campaign, and they will never allow themselves to buy votes. He has also stated that the ANC is prepared to cooperate with the authorities only if it refers to the Karabakh conflict, change of power, and President Serzh Sargsyan's resignation. And with respect to the authorities' pledge to hold completely fair elections, Vahagn Khachatryan noted that the halls of power are prepared to do everything to be elected, and a fair election depends on them and the people.
