The term "frozen" used about the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict is a deceiving one, Göran Lennmarker, the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly’s Special Representative for the South Caucasus, stated at meeting with the Azerbaijani delegation on the margins of the 19th session of the OSCE in Oslo. The sides still continue suffering losses, so the term "frozen", when about the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, is a deceiving one, Lennmarker said. In his regional report he also pointed out some progress in the Nagorno-Karabakh peace process as well as the recent Armenian-Azerbaijani presidential meeting and the OSCE Minsk Group’s activities. This March Göran Lennmarker stated that Azerbaijan must reduce its military budget, which may be part of the peace process. The Armenian and Azerbaijani economies, as well as peoples, will suffer as long as the conflict remains unsettled, Lennmarker said, news.am reports. AZG
