An Armenian-Kuwaiti inter-governmental commission is envisaged

YEREVAN, 25 JUNE, NOYAN TAPAN: Armenia’s Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Territorial Administration Armen Gevorgyan had a working dinner-meeting on June 25 with the delegation headed by Minister of Finance of Kuwait Mustafa Jasem Al-Shamali. Participating in the meeting were RA Minister of Finance Tigran Davtyan, RA Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Arman Kirakossian and Armenia’s Ambassador to Kuwait Fadey Charchoghlyan. The opportunities for deepening of economic relations between Armenia and Kuwait, particularly trade circulation and the results of the meetings during the visit to Armenia were discussed during the meeting. Both sides attached importance to the need of creating an Armenian-Kuwaiti inter-governmental commission which will contribute to strengthening of humanitarian and trade-economic relations. The sides also touched upon the involvement of the Armenian labor force in Kuwait and opportunities for implementing construction projects with the participation of Armenian companies. As the Press Service of the RA Ministry of Territorial Administration informed “NT”, an agreement was reached on continuing inter-governmental meetings and mutual visits which, according to the Kuwaiti side, may contribute to the establishment of direct aerial communication as well.
