The Cafesjian Center for the Arts presents new educational programs Magical Labyrinth and City Hundertwasser.
The Cafesjian Center for the Arts (CCA) has launched two new educational programs: Magical Labyrinth and City Hundertwasser based on the exhibition Friedensreich Hundertwasser: Regentag.
Magical Labyrinth program is designed for schools and families with children aged 5+, and the City Hundertwasser program is for teenagers (aged 14 +) and adults.
In the beginning of the programs, participants have a tour at the exhibition gallery and familiarize with Hundertwasser’s works, his concepts and style. The second part continues at the Creative Hall of CCA, where participants of Magical Labyrinth program, inspired by the artist's vision, create their Hundertwasser-style works with provided natural materials. The participants of City Hundertwasser program watch a power-point presentation on Hundertwasser’s architecture and with the help of Urbanlab Architectural Office create cityscape maquettes, inspired by the artist's architectural ideas and philosophy.
“These programs are a unique opportunity for participants to discover the work and philosophy of Friedensreich Hundertwasser and enjoy the joyful and creative atmosphere of the Center”, said Vahagn Marabyan, the Acting Executive Director of the Cafesjian Center for the Arts.
The next session of the Magical Labyrinth program will be held on April 17, at 16:00; and the City Hundertwasser workshop will take place on April 19, at 12:00.
