In May 2007, a physics laboratory named after distinguished physics teacher Benhur Pakhchanian was inaugurated at the Physics-Mathematics Special School in Yerevan. This AybLab was installed by the Ayb Educational Foundation, with the Ayb Club member David Pakhchanian’s support. It is equipped with simulation programs to carry out virtual experiments, as well as a rich physics-related video collection.

During these 7 years, the school’s 7-12th-graders have held practical lessons here. The lab facilities have also helped students to best prepare for national and international Olympiads in physics. Last but not least, numerous trainings, seminars and competitions have been held here for physics teachers from Yerevan and other regions of Armenia.
