The Chairman of the RA NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations Artak Zakaryan sent a letter to Karel Schwarzenberg, the Chairman of the Committee of the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Republic
“Dear Mr. Schwarzenberg, We were pleased to learn that on April 14 the Standing Committee on Foreign Relations of the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Republic adopted a resolution on the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.
I would like to express my gratitude to you, as well as to all members of the Committee on Foreign Relations who voted in favor of this Resolution thus not letting this outrageous crime to fall into oblivion and averting new similar acts of inhumanity.
It will undoubtedly give a new impetus to the entire process of international recognition and condemnation of the Armenian Genocide.
