Consultations between the Press Departments of the NKR and RA Foreign Ministries

On July 17, consultations between the Information and Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic and the Press, Information and Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia took place in Stepanakert, aiming to strengthen and coordinate the cooperation.
During the consultations, the sides held a detailed discussion on the ways and forms of pursuing a coordinated policy in the information field. Issues related to the use of modern information technologies and dissemination of information in social networks were touched upon. The importance to hold consultations on regular basis between the two Ministries՝ Information Departments was mutually emphasized.
The discussions continued on in an extended format, with the participation of the press and public relations departments՝ staff of the NKR government structures.
On the same day, the participants of consultations were received by NKR Minister of Foreign Affairs Karen Mirzoyan. During the meeting the NKR Foreign Minister was briefed on the agenda of the consultations, the arrangements reached and the measures to be taken for their implementation. Karen Mirzoyan stressed the importance of conducting a coordinated and proactive policy in the information field.
