Yerevan, Armenia - On September 6, 2015 Homeland Development Initiative Foundation (HDIF) in partnership with Vardenis Municipality, Jinishian Memorial Foundation, World Vision Armenia, and Vardenis Community Development Foundationis organizing the second annual Golden Wheat Festival in Vardenis with the purpose of promoting small business development in the Vardenisregion. The event has received financial support from the Jinishian Memorial Foundation, World Vision Armenia andCentral Bank of Armenia.

The Golden Wheat Festival has become an annual festival implemented with the significant involvement of the local community. As a result, local people explore the market potential for their goods and learn to market them, thus boosting local economic development.

Come to Vardenis on September 6^th to taste many wonderful local foods and purchase beautiful crafts made by local artisans, among them HDIF’s partners Vardenis Sewing and Vardenis Stone Carving.
