Foreign Minister of Armenia Edward Nalbandian received members of the German-Armenian Forum

On August 29, Edward Nalbandian, Foreign Minister of Armenia, received in Yerevan the delegation of the German-Armenian Forum, headed by Albert Weiler, member of the German Bundestag.
Welcoming the members of the German-Armenian Forum, Edward Nalbandian attached importance to the activity of the Organization aimed at the further strengthening and expansion of friendly relations between Armenia and Germany.
The interlocutors commended the high-level cooperation established between Armenia and Germany, as well as discussed the steps being undertaken towards the deepening of relations.
During the meeting, Albert Weiler briefed the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia on the activity of the Forum and the upcoming projects.
Minister Nalbandian highly appreciated the recognition of the Armenian Genocide by the German Bundestag and commended the significant efforts the members of the German-Armenian Forum exerted in the process.
The Armenia-European Union relations were touched upon at the meeting. In this regard, Edward Nalbandian presented the negotiation process over the new legal framework with the EU.
The Foreign Minister of Armenia presented to the German parliamentarians the efforts exerted by Armenia and the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs towards the exclusively peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh issue.
