Dasaran Rewards New Generation Schools

On April 13 Dasaran Educational Center hosted the official award ceremony of the “New Generation School 2015-2016” ranking competition, jointly organized by the Ministries of Education and Science of the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Artsakh, Yerevan Municipality, Pyunik Human Resources Development Foundation, “New Generation School” NGO, and Dasaran Educational Program.
 
School principals, vice-principals, teachers and other guests were in attendance.
The “New Generation School” ranking competition of public schools aims to contribute to the increase of computer literacy among the public school teachers, to promote the active usage of information technologies at schools and the full and comprehensive utilization of Dasaran’s electronic platform, as well as aims to make the learning process and school-students’ performance grading more transparent and controllable for parents.
The competition covered all the 1.501 schools of Armenia and Artsakh united in the single electronic platform of Dasaran Educational Program.
The teaching staff of the participating schools were supposed to administer the electronic gradebooks with highest efficiency, namely to make timely inputs of grades, homework assignments and absences throughout the academic year in order to be recognized as winners.
71 schools in total received various awards – computers, libraries and certificates, during the official concluding and award ceremony of the competition.
Of all the Armenian and Artsakh schools the following schools have shown the highest efficiency:

Mesrop Ashchyan Basic School, v. Mughni, Aragatsotn region, Republic of Armenia
V. Noragyugh Secondary School, Askeran region, Republic of Armenia
