International conference “Armenia-Turkey: Paving the Way for Dialogue and Reconciliation”

Yerevan, Armenia: On May 18-19, 2017, Caucasus Research Resource Center – Armenia will hold an international conference entitled “Armenia-Turkey: Paving the Way for Dialogue and Reconciliation.” The venue of the conference is the Yerevan State University’s Academic Council Meeting Room (address: YSU Central Building, 5th floor, Alex Manoogian 1, Yerevan, Armenia). The conference is conducted within the framework of the programme ‘Support to the ArmeniaTurkey Normalisation Process’: Stage Two, financed by the European Union. The conference aims at creating a platform for communication exchange and dialogue among researchers, students, professionals of different background, and civil society representatives from Armenia and Turkey. Selected papers cover a wide range of topics in economics, tourism, international relations, and social psychology. The conference will bring together around 40 participants from Armenia, Turkey, USA and EU. H.E. Mr. Piotr Antoni Świtalski, Ambassador, Head of Delegation of the European Union will deliver a welcome speech. The keynote speakers are Dr.Ugur Ümit Üngör (University of Utrecht) and Dr. Vicken Cheterian (University of Geneva).
