The commemoration event and the march of candle lighting dedicated to the 96th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide took place on April 24, in St. Vardanants church and then the representatives went to the hall of the church to take part in the commemoration ceremony. The speeches made during the commemoration event, which was organized by the joint efforts of all organizations of the community, marked the possible ways of international recognition of the Armenian Genocide in the new political situation. The Armenian ambassador to Kuwait Fadey Charchoghlyan also made a speech, noting that till now Turkish negative policy first of all should be a serious impetus for the international society in order to prevent further genocides.
