Meeting of the Senior Staff of the Central Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Permanent Representatives of Artsakh abroad with NA Speaker Ashot Gulyan

On July 20, within the framework of consultations at the MFA of the Republic of Artsakh the senior staff of the central office as well as the permanent representatives of Artsakh in foreign countries met with the President of the National Assembly Ashot Ghulyan.
The president of the Parliament congratulated those present on the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the MFA attaching great importance to the key role of the Ministry in fully representing and protecting the interests of Artsakh on the diplomatic front.
An exchange of views took place on the cooperation established in the format of parliamentary diplomacy noting the importance of intensifying joint efforts to develop and expand inter-parliamentary relations with various countries.
Issues related to the representation of Artsakh in international platforms, the settlement process of the Azerbaijani-Karabakh conflict as well as prospects of expanding Artsakh’s international cooperation at different levels were also touched upon during the meeting.
At the end of the meeting, the President of the National Assembly answered numerous questions related to the work of the legislative body as well as the parliamentary and inter-party external relations.
