YEREVAN, MAY 27, NOYAN TAPAN. Former RA Prime Minister,
head of the Liberty party Hrant Bagratian does not exclude that
the social situation in Armenia will aggravate after Yerevan
Council of Elders elections. Reporting this at the May 26 press
conference, he said that people apply to the Armenian National
Congress office saying that indeed they do not receive salary,
but have to sign under respective documents.
Saying that the information sphere is currently more closed
than in the 30-s, H. Bagratian said: "They have gathered, with
their television, their ministers, their deputies and try by all
means to present and to convince that it is the life, it is
Armenia." According to him, "we know what will happen on May
31," and a question emerges: what will happen on June 1, after
the elections?
