Four people arrested in Moscow on suspicion of having
kidnapped Armenian citizen

MOSCOW, JUNE 22, NOYAN TAPAN. Law enforcers arrested four
unemployed persons in Moscow, who are suspected of kidnapping an
Armenian citizen.
Radio Liberty reported, referring to Novosti news agency
that the Armenian citizen was kidnapped on Sheremetevskaya
Street on June 5. Later this person managed to escape from his
kidnappers on his own.
Three of the arrested men had previous convictions.
A criminal case on kidnapping has been opened in connection
with the fact. The Russian criminal code envisages imprisonment
for up to 15 years for this crime.
No details about the case and the identities of the
Armenian citizen and those arrested were given.
