YEREVAN, APRIL 3, NOYAN TAPAN. Though many will try to
persuade U.S. President not to pronounce the word "genocide"
in his April 24 address, nevertheless Barack Obama will remain
loyal to his principles and will keep his promise on recognition
of the Armenian Genocide. Arpi Vardanian, the Director of the
Armenian Assembly of America (AAA) Armenian Office, gave
assurance at the April 3 press conference.
In her words, B. Obama will not stop the process of
adoption of the resolution on Armenian Genocide in U.S. Congress.
A. Vardanian said that according to the April 2 data, already 88
Congressmen have expressed their support to the resolution.
Speaking about the relations between Armenia and Turkey,
the Armenian Assembly of America representative said that they
will develop without fail, and the borders will be opened
without a precondition.
