FIAS's final report on activities of ADA presented to
Armenian prime minister

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 8, NOYAN TAPAN. The Armenian prime
minister Tigran Sargsyan on December 8 received the director of
the World Bank Armenia Office Aristomene Varudakis, the director
of the Foreign Investment Advisory Services (FIAS) Karin
Millett, experts of the WB and FIAS.
The final report on studies and assessment conducted by
FIAS at the suggestion of WB was presented at the meeting. The
report is related to the activities of the Armenian Development
Agency (ADA), raising the efficiency of its work from the
institutional point of view, and its further steps. The World
Bank starts to implement a new 2 million-dollar technical
assistance program with ADA (with a grant of the Netherlands),
and prior to launching this program, the WB ordered a report,
attaching importance to expert advice for raising the efficiency
of ADA's activities.
According to the RA Government Information and PR
Department, T. Sargsyan expressed his gratitude for this useful
work, underlining the importance to the opinions and
recommendations made as a result of the study in terms of
improving further work of the ADA.
