YEREVAN, AUGUST 18, NOYAN TAPAN. ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank has assumed sponsorship of "Hayastan" All-Armenian Fund's Telemarathon 2008. In an official letter to the Fund's acting executive director Ara Vardanian, the director general of the bank Stepan Gishian stated that ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank is ready to sponsor Telemarathon 2008 and pay 15 million drams (about 50 thousand dollars). Thus, according to a press release of the Fund, Telemarathon 2008 already has two official sponsors in Armenia: the main sponsor is VivaCell company that has donated 304 mln drams, and the other sponsor is ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank. Active negotiations with other possible sponsors of Telemarathon are underway at the Yerevan executive unit of the Fund. Telemarathon 2008 will be held in Los Angeles on November 27 of this year. This year's donations will be allocated to development programs of Armenian and Artsakh villages.
