ARMENIA INTENDS TO DEEPEN FURTHER ITS COOPERATION WITH ARAB
WORLD AND EGYPT

YEREVAN, MAY 17, NOYAN TAPAN. The Armenian authorities
intend to continue the further deepening of cooperation with the
Ara world and Egypt, the Armenian foreign minister Edward
Nalbandian stated at the May 16 meeting with the Egyptian deputy
foreign minister Ramzi Ezzeldin Ramzi. According to a press
release of the RA MFA, R.E. Ramzi said that Egypt appreciates
its friendly relations with Armenia. He presented the programs
of the Egyptian Foundation on Technical Cooperation with CIS
Countries and the projects of further cooperation with Armenia
within the framework of these programs.
The interlocutors discussed the formation of the Armenian
side of the Armenian-Egyptian intergovernmental commission, the
two countries' cooperation in international organizations, and
some regional security issues, in particular, problems of the
Middle East and the settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict.
