YEREVAN, APRIL 21, NOYAN TAPAN. The deficit of the current account of the balance of payment of the Republic of Armenia made 571.36 mln USD in late 2007, growing by 454.23 mln USD as compared with 2006. The growth was mainly conditioned by an increase of the negative balance of the foreign trade turnover. According to the RA National Statistical Service, by the 2007 results, the deficit of the current account made up 5.3% of Armenian GDP - against 3.8% in the same period of 2006.
