On June 28, during the session of the board of trustees of FREDA headed by the Prime Minister, the head of the board Tigran Sargsyan the financial statements and independent auditorial conclusion of financial and economic activity were confirmed. The head of the fund Tigran Khanikyan presented the scheme of the Fund for Rural Economic Development in Armenia 2011-2015 program of military development. The main approaches and principles of the activity of FREDA in coming five years are established and they aim at supporting the entrepreneurs in villages, its employees and suppliers. He informed that the total amount of investment portfolio of the fund made 1, 6 billion drams in 2011, in frames of which it was envisaged to implement programs in the field of recycling agricultural food. Especially, it concerns the production of dairy produce, canning of fruits and vegetables, wine making, poultry farming, fish breeding and recycling, as well as implementation of investment programs for creating cold storing appliances and greenhouses.
