POINTS IN WORLD YOUTH CHAMPIONSHIP

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 20, NOYAN TAPAN. World Youth Chess Championship started on November 18 in the Turkish city of Kemer. 1450 chess players take part in it. They represent six age groups. 18 chess players take part in the Championship from Armenia. Two tours have been played. Avetik Grigorian (18 years old), Robert Hovhannisian and David Gevorgian (both 16 years old), Samvel Ter-Sahakian and Lusine Torosian (both 14 years old), Norayr Torosian (12 years old) and Tigran Haroutiunian (10 years old) gained two points.
