YEREVAN, OCTOBER 9, NOYAN TAPAN. Gagik Gyurjian, the RA Deputy Minister of Culture, handed the awards of the Ministry to 28 librarians of the republic on October 9 on the occasion of the Librarian Day, which has officially been celebrated in Armenia for the forth year already. And 5 librarians of the republic were encouraged by the letters of congratulation of the RA Prime Minister for their contribution to the development of the library sphere. Ruzan Tonoyan, the Head of the Yerevan National Children's Library after Khnko-Aper, Levon Gharibian, the Head of the Republican Scientific-Technical Library, Anna Shirinian, the Head of the Scientific-Medical Library under the RA National Academy of Sciences, as well as Knarik Grigorian, the manager of the municipal library of Spitak in the region of Lori, were awarded golden medals of the Ministry of Culture. 18 librarians of the republic were awarded diplomas of the Ministry and 6 librarians letters of congratulation.
