YEREVAN, AUGUST 9, NOYAN TAPAN. 3,181 tons of goods of the total cost of $47.3 million was brought into Armenia as humanitarian aid in January-June of this year. 3,507.9 tons of goods of the total cost of $29.1 million was brought in the same period of 2006. According to the RA National Statistical Service, production of chemical industry and related industrial sectors made 72.7% of humanitarian aid received, devices - 9.1%, machines, equipment and mechanisms - 5.8%, and metallurgical items - 3.7%.
