YEREVAN, MARCH 23, NOYAN TAPAN. The Kajaran-Sisian-Angeghakot-Jermuk-Ararat gas pipeline will be put into operation in 2008. The RA Ministry of Nature Protection made a positive conclusion on this project with one condition: to receive the consent of Armforest state noncommercial organization. This condition is related to the fact that 10 km out 135 km of the new line will pass through forests. Representatives of ArmRusgazprom stated that they are prepared to sign the respective agreement with Armforest and compensate the damage.
