YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 22, NOYAN TAPAN. On November 18-20, the Armenian handball national team held unofficial matches with the handball teams of town of Berdzor, Kashatagh region of Artsakh. The competition tour was organized by Sargis Grigorian, Chairman of the Armenian Handball Federation. As NT correspondent was informed by Haroutiun Melkonian, Vice-Chairman of the Armenian Handball Federation, during all days of the matches the sport halls and open-air sport grounds were crowded with spectators. As he affirmed, handball will be permanently registered in Berdzor, especially as Tamar Hovhannisian, graduate of the Armenian State Institute of Physical Culture, and Gabriel and Marine Markosians, former members of the Armenian national team, were admitted to work at the local sport school.
