ARMENIAN DELEGATION PARTICIPATES IN INTERNATIONAL
ARCHITECTURE BIENNALE IN VENICE

VENICE, SEPTEMBER 14, NOYAN TAPAN - ARMENIANS TODAY. The
Armenian delegation headed by Ashot Grigorian, Director of the
RA National Museum-Institute of Architecture, is participating
in the 10th International Architecture Biennale "Cities: Society
and Architecture" that opened on September 9 in Giardini di
Castello a Arsenale (Venice).
The delegations of Armenia, Chile, Columbia and Macedonia
were invited to Palazzo Zenobio of the Murad Rafaelian Seminary
where the opening ceremony of these countries' pavilions took
place, during which the Armenian embassy's representative made a
welcoming speech.
According to the RA MFA Press and Information Department,
works of architects Levon Vardanian, Hovhannes Mutafian, Gagik
Hovhannisian (Yerevan) and David Hudson (US) are on display at
the Armenian pavilion.
The biennale will last until November 20.
