RA STATE BUDGET REVENUES IN JANUARY-JULY 2006 GROW BY 21.3%

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 13, NOYAN TAPAN. In January-July 2006,
the RA state budget revenues and transfers made 232 bln 35.7 mln
drams (about 520 mln 976 thousand USD), exceeding by 21.3% the
index of the same period of last year. The ratio of these
revenues to GDP grew from 20.3% in January-July 2005 to 21.2% in
the same months of this year.
According to the RA National Statistical Service, the total
revenues of the state budget in the period under review made 228
bln 213.8 mln drams (a 21.2% increase on January-July 2005),
while their ratio to GDP grew from 20% to 20.9%. The current
revenues made 221 bln 610 mln drams (20.9%, from 19.4% to
20.3%), including tax revenues of 191 bln 86.4 mln drams (19.7%,
from 16.9% to 17.5%), where the highest growth was registered in
profit tax - 37 bln 141.8 mln drams (42.7%, from 2.8% to
3.4%), and in income tax - 18 bln 357.5 mln drams (36.7%, from
1.4% to 1.7%). Environmental protection and natural resourse use
payments amounted to 3 bln 354.9 mln drams (32.9%, remained at
the level of 0.3%).
State duty payments in January-July 2006 made 9 mln 854.9
mln drams (11.2%, remained at the level of 0.9%), budget
revenues from capital operations - 603.8 mln drams (34.5%, from
0.5% to 0.6%), official transfers - 3 bln 821.9 mln drams
(24.5%, remained at the level of 0.3%).
The RA state budget expenditures in the first seven months
of 2006 made 237 bln 756.8 mln drams (23.4%, from 20.4% to
21.7%), the deficit - 5 bln 730 mln drams (301.8%, from 0.1% to
0.5%), 5 bln 191.2 drams of which was financed from foreign
sources, and the remaining part - from domestic resources.
