YEREVAN, JANUARY 30, NOYAN TAPAN. A criminal case was instituted on the fact of suicide of Arshak Karakhanian (born in 1955), Senior Assistant to Yerevan Malatia-Sebastia community Prosecutor. The case was instituted on the signs of Article 110, RA Criminal Code, "Drive to Suicide." As Noyan Tapan correspondent was informed, the preliminary examination on the criminal case is carried out by RA Prosecutor General's Office. A.Karakhanian's corpse was discovered at his office on January 27, within the limits of 15:30-16:00. According to the preliminary version, he has committed a suicide with a shot fired in the tract of heart by the arms allotted to him.
