BUENOS AIRES, MAY 10, NOYAN TAPAN. On May 5, the Turkish Foreign Ministry made a statement criticizing the declaration adopted by the Argentine National Senate in connection with the Armenian Genocide's 90th anniversary. According to the Press Center of the State Commission on organization of events dedicated to the Armenian Genocide's 90th anniversary, the Turkish Foreign Ministry considered the decision made by the Argentine Senate an "irresponsible" and ungrounded step from point of view of historic facts saying that "the countries that really want to contribute to improvement of Armenian-Turkish relations should assist the manifestation of Turkey's good will." As it has been already reported, during the April 20 statement the Argentine National Senate strictly criticized the consistent denial of unquestionable facts of Armenian Genocide by Turkish authorities.
