The sense of ANC-authority dialogue is just in the dialogue and not in the themes which are discussed. The head of Caucasus Institute, politician Alexander Iskandaryan expressed such opinion during the press conference on August 18. "The negotiations are beneficial for both sides. The authority wants to maintain current status quo and the ANC won’t come out of the process and organize demarche as it doesn’t want it” the politician said. In A. Iskandaryan’s opinion now special elections aren’t needed though theoretically they are possible.
