TARIFFS OF SERVICES FALL BY 0.1% IN ARMENIA IN DECEMBER

YEREVAN, JANUARY 8, NOYAN TAPAN. The 0.1% fall in tariffs
of services provided to the Armenian population in December as
compared with November 2007 was mainly due to a 1.5% fall in
tariffs of transport services (in connection with a 5% fall in
prices of plane tickets - against 16.7% growth in the previous
month) an a 5.3% fall in tariffs of cultural services.
According to the RA National Statistical Service, tariffs
of recreational, puclic catering, personal, legal and banking
services grew by 0.1-0.9% in the indicated period. Tariffs of
housing, municipal, medical, communication and educational
services remained unchanged as compared with the previous month.
