YEREVAN, JANUARY 23, NOYAN TAPAN. Results of the "Vahan Tekeyan" annual competition stated by the Tekeyan Cultural Union of Armenia will be summed up on January 23: prizes will be given to works created in 2005. As Sergey Galstian, the Deputy Chairman of the "Vahan Tekeyan" center stated at the exhibition opened in the center on January 22, the prizes will be given for the best works in 11 spheres: literature, music, art photography, sculpture, painting, theater, cinema, architecture, TV and radio journalism, the humanities. One prize will also be given for the series of articles published in the "Azg" daily. In S.Galstian's words, results of the "Ara ev Maral" children's best work competition will also be summed up at the same time. It was mentioned that artists both from Armenia, and Diaspora and Artsakh participated in the competitions. Monetary prizes: 1000 U.S. dollars each, are fixed for every nomination.
